Elfa enjoys working in a variety of mediums, exploring the unique application each one provides, and finding new ways to express her ideas. She has had one-artist exhibitions and group exhibitions in several galleries in Michigan and on the East Coast.

More recently she studied ceramics in Massachusetts at the Worcester Center for Crafts.
