8th Annual Juried Show “Flights of Fancy”

Fire Arts Inc. is pleased to announce the return of a popular theme for the 2024 Annual Juried Show, “Flights of Fancy: Work from a Whimsical Perspective,” and will be accepting entry applications February 10 through March 9. All entry information can be found on the Fire Arts website www.fireartsinc.com. This will be a juried show of three-dimensional art work with unusual, playful, or humorous qualities that make you smile, created by artist who have a great sense of whimsy. Just what the world needs these days!
This annual 3-D show is open to artists 18 years and older. Examples of acceptable media for this show are clay, stone, metal, glass, wood, fiber, resin, etc. Each artist may submit one or two pieces. Selected work will be on display in the Fire Arts showroom during the months of April and May, with an opening reception taking place on the April 13th, the Second Saturday of April from 2:00-5:00pm, at which time the awards ceremony will take place. Best of Show, 2nd and 3rd Place awards will be given during the April 13th Reception. Cast a vote for your favorite piece in the show before May 11th. A People’s Choice Award will be presented as part of the May Second Saturday Reception. Join us on May 11th between 2-5pm for that reception.
